I am a retired mechanic that just can't quit I now have a 67 Mustang with a aftermarket iron 427 side oiler stroked to 484 inches it has a roller cam a set of Edelbrock RPM heads and manifold both ported to the hilt I am running a custom Quick Fuel carb a set of try y headers and a 3" diameter Dr. Gas exhaust system It has a PAW built AOD transmission with a custom adapter plate and a 4 link Chassis works rear end on coil overs I think I went wrong by using hyd. rollers as I have close to 700 ft.lbs at 2500 rpm and onset of valve float at 6000 This is at the flywheel It is a fun street car as it launches with a wheel up on track day tires and has air and all the comforts. I also have in the works a 63 1/2 Falcon Sprint with a Ford 347 stroker short block and World heads with a custom Comp roller 2 Edelbrock 4 barrels with a Zex perimeter nitros system on both It also has try ys and a 2 1/2 Dr Gass system these exhausts give you great ground clearance My 3rd is a chopped channeled 40 Chevy cab on a custom boxed z'd Ford I think frame looks like a 32 it has a 32 radiator housing and a mostly stock 305 (hi compression camaro) Chevy with a 350 and a 10 bolt I think I just can't stop building. I say a 57 Ford custom 2 door with a cammer (the old one) but my wife is good to me but that might be the limit.
