Ever hear of John Kanzius? Kanzius was testing his radio-wave generator to see if it could desalinate salt water and the water ignited. A university chemist determined that the process is generating hydrogen, which can be burned as fuel. If this is fact and the process can be refined, imagine true energy independence with ZERO energy infrastructure. Just salt water made at home.

From what i've read, it is interesting but not yet practical for energy generation. More energy is consumed by the radio frequency device than is produced for burning, so it's not a very efficient method at this time. Could it be a way to produce hydrogen more efficiently and econimically? The video says that it produces hydrogen as a byproduct. I'd imagine that the device could be refined enough to actually produce more energy than it wastes. Someday.
